On Argentina's Atlantic coast, another serious vehicle accident occurred in the dune area. A 27-year-old man from the town of Guernica suffered life-threatening injuries after his quad bike overturned. The incident took place at the Pucará campsite in Villa Gesell.
According to initial reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled several times in the sand. As a result of the violent impact, the victim suffered a severe traumatic brain injury with facial damage, as well as severe multiple trauma to various parts of the body.
Following the accident, he was urgently transported by ambulance to a hospital in Pinamar, where he remains in critical condition while medical teams work to stabilize him.
Due to the complexity of his condition, the Buenos Aires Province Ministry of Health, through the Integrated Health Emergency System (SIES), coordinated a high-complexity transfer. Doctors confirmed that the patient will be transferred during the night by air ambulance to a specialized hospital in the city of La Plata.
This operation is similar to the one carried out a few days ago with an 8-year-old child, who was also involved in a serious accident in the area while driving a UTV.
